Didn't have to pay, just need to drive there. Theres heaps of snappers and fish that don't swim away from you. I just brought togs and snorkel goggles and it was a great experience.

Loved it there. Beautiful scenery. Lovely beach and amazing and educational Marine Discovery Centre. Definitely worth a day trip.

Amazing place for snorkeling, kayaking, swimming, walking, and chilling. Unforgettable experience!! It is better to bring you own Kayak but there kayaks (see pics) for rent per hour. Also you can rent snorkeling gears. You will see lots of beautiful fish, grayfish

Beautiful, majestic, amazing 🤩 Such beautiful views, water was beautiful and calm, although a bit dirty near the rocks and in the shallow area it is pretty clear to see the fishes, lots of snappers further in. Snorkel hire was available nearby, bathroom was nice and clean and rubbish bin was so large could fit in a lot. Went on New Year’s Day so was very busy with car parks but there lots of room on the side of the road. Not much shade so will need some shelter.

The shop is very well ran with high quality gears that are properly cleaned after each hire. Super friendly staff. We accidentally left our GoPro in the bucket when returning the snorkel gears. As we were already on our way south, Sara helped to post it to Christchurch so we can pick it up when we return our campervan. Big thanks for over-the'top service!
